Thank you, Lord, for allowing the American election to turn out the way it did (the election of President D. Trump)! I do not believe any leader is a solution to any country’s real needs. I believe only you can fulfill that need, however, a leader is important for the direction a country will go. If the country had picked Mrs. Clinton it would have shown you that, as a nation, your principles, commandments, and guidance did not matter to us anymore. We would most likely have lost many of our “rights,” including that of worshipping you freely. The last election showed you publically that there still is a remnant of this country’s citizens that still have your ethics, principles, and morals still ingrained in them. There is still hope for America! Thank you, Lord, for giving us another opportunity to turn this country around to be more pleasing to you! Protect and guide our leader!

Could you explain to me how, as a Christian, I was suppose to choose between two evils? I did not vote for either. I just could not. Mr. Trump’s language concerning women appalled and sickened me. He’s been a whore monger with other sinful actions. Mrs. Clinton was completely out of the question concerning my vote.
Yes, we all sin and come short of God’s glory but, does HE expect us to choose between two revolting persons to govern our country?
Please know I am extremely serious about this. I will pray for the President of my country because God commands me to. However, I could not choose between the two evils.
Voting third party in this situation was voting for a pro-baby killer, so I do not see how your vote was any better. As you said, voting for Mrs. Clinton was out of the question for her blatant dishonesty, support of abortion, homosexuality, and other things the Bible is clearly against. Both major candidates were vulgar, and none were godly. It was a decision against the lesser of two evils, as it usually is. It was a difficult decision. But, not voting in our two party system records that non-vote to the Democrat side. So you had to make a decision.
Jesus had to make “tough” choices also. He still paid taxes, and made his followers do also, to those that would ultimately have Him killed. With His knowledge of the wickedness of the rulers of His time (Nero, who was burning and murdering Christians at the time) He still told us to honor government. Man’s government will never be righteous and perfect, that is why He will one day set up His own righteous judgment one day. That is why , in the beginning he did not want man to rule over man. He wanted to be the main ruler, but man insisted he wanted a ruler like everyone else.
But, meantime, we have to make a effort to get our government to conform to His likeness as much as possible. That is where your vote and voice come in play! Vote prayerfully and wisely!
Yes, Praise you Lord ! We knew very well what the agenda of a Clinton Presidency would have been and although we aren’t sure about a Trump presidency, I believe it is a chance to humble ourselves and call out to you once again.
I pray that President Trump will find Men and Women of God in his path and that he will take their counsel. I pray that he will find an altar himself and repent and be saved.
I pray that regardless, that you will use him Lord. I believe it will be found that the election of President Trump was due in large part to people that call themselves Christian.
Amen God does answer prayer thank you my Father .
Bro. Brinkworth,
We do have much to be thankful for today, not the least of which is that God has again shown His mercy to this country. I have no idea what four years under President-elect Trump will hold, but I do know that God spared us from the greater evil that would have continued to promote the murder of innocent babies, abominable unions between same sexes, and other evils while at the same time attacking our freedoms such as the right to worship freely and right to bear arms. What we, as Christians, need most to do now is continue to pray for our country. This election has started a prayer war against the evil that is trying to take control of our country. We need to continue that fight and pray that this is the beginning of a great new awakening revival and that many will be saved and many more will come back to the God they have forsaken.
Ephesians 6:12-13 (KJV)
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
We do need to pray for our governmental authorities and that they would follow the will of God. Even more though, we need to pray for an end-time revival in our country. Time is short! God wants everyone to be saved. Let us do our part!
Amen, Sister. But, having a slight reprieve from God should not only mean we just pray. We need to put feet to our prayers and all Christians need to go to the battlefield and fight ungodliness and serve Him with all our might, and soul! Now is the time to go soul-winning and to tell others why we can. We may not have the priviledge if the liberals get their way!
Amen and amen. I pray that Christ will be exalted in the white house once again. So happy with the turnout
