Who Will?

“Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great Tell othersthings the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.” Mark 5:19

I am a Christian.

  • If I do not tell the unsaved how to keep from spending an eternity in hell, who will?
  • If I don’t tell them that sin is wicked and destroys our lives and those around us, who will?
  • If I don’t tell them what God says is sin, who will?
  • If I don’t tell them that abortion is against God’s commandments, who will?
  • If I don’t tell them that homosexuality is a chosen sin-style that angers God, who will?
  • If I don’t tell them that God’s way is right, and all other ways are wrong, who will?
  • If I don’t tell them that God planned for man to have one wife, and they each should be faithful to each other until death, who will?
  • If I don’t tell them that God has preserved His will and way in the King James Bible, so we will know exactly what He wants us to know, who will?
  • If I don’t tell them that everything that names itself “Christian” is not necessarily of God, who will?
  • If I don’t tell them that there is a real devil that doesn’t want them to do what God wants them to, who will?
  • If I don’t tell them that it is the same devil that tempts, confuses, and deceives them so they won’t know God’s way or want to obey it, who will?
  • If I can’t show the world that there is a proper, rewarding, God-desired lifestyle, who will?
  • If the unsaved world can’t see that I am different from them, who will show them that there is a difference between those bound for heaven and those bound for hell?
  • If my life is not an example of how good God is, and that He is alive and still working in His children’s lives, whose will?
  • If I don’t have the “guts” to stand up for what I believe, and what God’s Word says, who will?

I am a Christian, and I have responsibilities! I cannot be silent! The world needs what God wants me to tell and show  them!

  1. Unless one lives a perfect life as none of us can do others will not look up to us and see God in us .

If I recall in the Bible someone said to Jesus he is good and He said only God is .

Luke 18:19 | View whole chapter | See verse in context And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

Mark 10:18 | View whole chapter | See verse in context And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

  2. “If I can’t show the world that there is a proper, rewarding, God-desired lifestyle, who will?”

You never know who is watching.

You can preach and witness until you are blue in the face, but if you live like the world at the same time and have no victory, it is meaningless.

You all have a great day.

  3. You know, God told Ezekiel that he was a “watchman” for the house of Israel (Ezekiel 3:17). Ezekiel was to warn people of the judgment of God if they didn’t repent and turn to God!

God has ordained us (believers) as watchmen as well! We too are to warn people of the consequences of sin and leaving this world without Christ! God told Ezekiel that if failed to warn the people and they died in their sins, then his (Ezekiels) blood would be on his hands (Ezekiel 3:18) – I wonder how much blood will be on my hands one day when I stand before God cause I know I’ve failed to warn people before! Ouch!

By the way, ALL believers are watchmen for God! It’s not just the “preacher’s” job or the Deacon’s job to warn people! The Great Commission is a commandment for all people to “Go”

    Great devotion!

    1. Praise the Lord we will not have to answer for our sins, but we will loose many rewards because we have not done what God has called and expected us to do!
